- Official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions attended (or appropriate international equivalent).
- Personal Statement – This statement should be between 300-500 words in length and describe your career goals and how the MA AM program aligns with those goals. It should address: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? How will you get there? Your educational history including any disparity in undergrad GPA and key life events leading to the decision to apply.
- International students must demonstrate English proficiency.
Students should have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in undergraduate studies. Include a statement of explanation if your GPA is below the recommended GPA of 3.0. Students with a GPA lower than 3.0 may be admitted conditionally but will be based on the decision of the admissions committee.
Please note that applicants are not required to take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) to apply. The university accepts applications on a rolling basis.

It could be! This program is for students who have an interest in art and technology and may want to move to a more fulfilling creative position. Many students who enter the program are hobbyists or self-taught and looking to break into the field.

To apply for the Master of Arts in Art and Technology you will be asked to submit the following:
- Completed online application
- Current resume
- Official transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions attended (or appropriate international equivalent).
- Submit an artist statement OR a personal statement
- An artist statement should be a statement of your portfolio to give the committee an understanding of your work.
- A personal statement should discuss your goals, what skills you will contribute to the program, and what you’re looking to gain from the program.
- Visual portfolio
- Upload 10 images or media files of your artwork or professional work. This should present as a professional portfolio and images should be oriented correctly.
International students must demonstrate English proficiency. An interview may be requested at the discretion of the admissions committee. You are not required to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). The university accepts applications on a rolling basis. Each application will be reviewed individually by the admissions committee at the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts.
