— Ashley Farnsworth

Dr. Amy Cerato is a geotechnical engineer and a Rapp Foundation Presidential Professor at the Gallogly College of Engineering. Her research interests include foundation design for alternative energy and predicting expansive soil behavior using microscale properties. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Cerato is the recipient of the Gallogly College of Engineering Felgar Society Pursuit of Excellence Award and the Shamsher Prakash Prize for Excellence in Teaching of Geotechnical Engineering. Dr. Cerato has authored more than 60 technical papers and was featured on the “Yes! Science!” series, a show dedicated to profiling women and minority individuals in STEM fields.

Tess Elliot

Tess Elliot is Assistant Professor of Art, Technology & Culture at OU. She creates moving images and installations using both traditional and emerging technologies including VR, AR, animation, and small-gauge film. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, recently at Aggregate Space Gallery in Oakland, CA, the Ann Arbor Film Festival in MI, and MOTOR in Los Angeles, CA. She was a recent artist-in-residence with Oklahoma Contemporary and at Kintai Arts in Lithuania. Elliot completed her MFA in Art & Technology at The Ohio State University.

Peter Froslie

Peter Froslie is the Director of the School of Visual Arts and a Professor of Art, Technology, and Culture. Froslie has long been fascinated with the relationship between global political and economic structures and emerging issues of climate and environmental change. He has been selected for competitive art residencies in Norway, China, and Austria earning him international recognition. His work has appeared in numerous publications including The Washington Post. He received his MFA from the Studio for Interrelated Media at MassArt.

KT Duffy

KT Duffy is a new media artist from Chicago’s southwest side and is an Assistant Professor at OU. Duffy conjures entities into existence via code-based processes and digital fabrication. Their work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the U.S. including at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Duffy is also a Co-Founder and Co-Director of several ongoing collaborative endeavors such as Langer Over Dickie Projects, CQDELab, and Mx. Studio. They received their MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Stan Renard, Ph.D.

Dr. Stan Renard is Associate Dean, Associate Professor, and Coordinator of the Arts Management and Entrepreneurship programs in the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts at the University of Oklahoma. Renard is also the Director of the Arts Incubation Research Lab (AIR Lab), a National Endowment for the Arts Research Lab. The lab’s research team studies the intersection of the arts, entrepreneurship, and innovation at its incubation stage with a research agenda that intends to understand the economic potential of artists as non-conventional entrepreneurs and the impact of the digital divide upon arts-based entrepreneurs. In addition, he is a touring and recording artist, and the founder and arranger of the Grammy-Nominated Bohemian Quartet and the Executive Director of the Monteux School & Music Festival in Hancock, ME. Dr. Renard is a member of the Yamaha Master Educator Collective, Music Business & Entrepreneurship Group.

Lucia Colombari, Ph.D

Dr. Lucia Colombari is Assistant Professor of Art History and Arts Management at the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts. A native of Bologna, Italy, she specializes in twentieth-century art history and visual culture, exhibition practices in museums and world expositions, transnational exchange, and cultural diplomacy. She built a career in cultural organizations, including the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum and the Corriere della Sera Foundation in Milan, focusing on leadership, curatorial practice, and public engagement. She now works fluently across disciplines and sectors at the intersection of theory and practice.
